Not at all. Most people come by themselves but we often have a couple of friends, siblings or mum and daughter too! It makes for a lovely balance.

This will be a small group retreat, providing time to be in company but also take time just for you. From 6 - 10 people depending on whether people share rooms or opt to have their own.

Absolutely. You can choose to share as several rooms can be arranged as a twin, or you can have your own room for a bit more privacy and quiet time.

No experience is needed and this will be a beautifully inclusive retreat for all. Equally if you have a lot of experience you will find the retreat meets you deeply. That is one of the magical aspects of Scaravelli Inspired Yoga and of my extensive teaching experience - we approach practice with the same curiosity and starting point and then our bodies (and minds) will do what's right for them.

A typical day begins with softly guided meditation, followed by breakfast and then time to digest. An extended morning practice leads us into lunch and then the afternoon is free for relaxation, swimming, exploring etc. Evening practice before dinner sets us up for a restful night's sleep and the day ends in good time to head quietly to bed. Wonderful extras on this retreat are the opening ceremony round the fire and the outdoor spa session on Saturday afternoon.

Yes. As long as you give details of what you need in plenty of time all diets can be catered for.

I know just how this feels. I will be helping you to feel at ease right from the start and holding a welcome circle that will calm your nerves and help you to relax and take up your place. Please know that nothing is required or expected of you during the retreat. You can be as quiet as you like and take time out for yourself whenever you want to.

This retreat has 3 wonderful shepherds huts each in their own space in the grounds and also the gorgeous old cottage where we can take communal meals or enjoy the lounge. The shepherds huts have their own shower room with toilet, plus kitchenette while in the cottage there are two rooms that share a bathroom plus one ensuite. There is another bathroom and shower by the pool. Every room and hut is set up to the highest standard with comfortable bedding and towels.

Details of everything you need to bring will be emailed to you at least 2 weeks before the retreat. In summary, just comfy clothes and toiletries are all you need to bring. All yoga equipment is provided, including blankets and bolsters. In your room you will have luxury bath towels, a swim towel and changing robe.

Check out is after lunch on Sunday around 2 - 2.30pm.

Yes we do offer refunds, on a sliding scale depending how close to the retreat and therefore how likely it is that we can fill your place. You're also welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or relative if you can no longer make it. Full details can be found here
